Meopham Windmill (Killick's Mill)
📍 2 min walk
Meopham Windmill was built Circa 1820 and is one of a small handful of six-sided smock mills in the UK. The windmill's black smock tower stands on a red brick base of two stories. It is now preserved with all its machinery, including three pairs of millstones. A beautiful Grade II-listed building, this mill has recently been restored by Kent County Council and is managed by the Meopham Windmill Trust to secure the mill for future generations. This restoration was completed in June 2025 and Meopham Windmill is now regularly open to the public and provides guided tours and bespoke events.
