We went as a party of 4 booked for 3.15pm on a Sunday. It was really busy when we arrived and was seated after buying our first round of drinks. Unfortunately we were forgotten after we were seated and after about 15 mins or so had to ask for menus. Then we was left a while again. We then flagged a member of staff and they took our order. We ordered starters and mains and the starters came after about 20 mins but then the mains took over half an hour and again we had to ask for an update and was told there had been a mix up with the orders and it wouldn't be long. The food itself was presented well and tasted really good. The portions were plentiful and all fresh produce. We left the pub near to 6pm which was probably an hour more than we anticipated but they are obviously really popular and so just bare that in mind especially on a Sunday if your in a rush or have appointments to be elsewhere. Other than that it was good.

Great pub for food (and drinks of course). Very well presented and decorated. We couldn't make a booking over the phone, but tried our luck after a walk in the area. Fortunately they managed to accommodate us. It was absolutely packed. All four of us loved the food ordered. There's a nice wine cellar upstairs opposite the toilets, that can be seen by visitors. Also super well made framed caricatures on wine drinking, all over the walls of male toilets. I guess in the ladies too. Anyway, nice and friendly place, great food and atmosphere.

I had my 60th Birthday lunch yesterday. There was 24 of us. From start to finish the service was superb and everybody thought the food was excellent. We all ended up staying about 6 hours!! Thank you to your whole team for making our lunch so good.

Really good food that was beautifully cooked and well presented. The goat's cheese and the ham hock starters were particularly good. The sea bass was cooked just how I like it, with a crispy underside. And they managed to make the humble chicken breast into something especially tasty. I would have given them five stars but some of the waiting staff were quite disengaged and had virtually no knowledge of the menu regarding either food or drinks. But that did not spoil it being a very good meal.

Absolutely amazing restaurant, delicious food, from starter, main course and dessert so divine Lovely staffs, Natalie and Mia, look after us very well, great choice to celebrate my husband birthday definitely recommend to everyone. We can’t wait to come back again.
