“Great pub for food (and drinks of course). Very well presented and decorated. We couldn't make a booking over the phone, but tried our luck after a walk in the area. Fortunately they managed to accommodate us. It was absolutely packed. All four of us loved the food ordered. There's a nice wine cellar upstairs opposite the toilets, that can be seen by visitors. Also super well made framed caricatures on wine drinking, all over the walls of male toilets. I guess in the ladies too. Anyway, nice and friendly place, great food and atmosphere.”

“Came here with friends for lunch. You need to book a table, it's busy. Food was hot, tasty and plenty of it, you certainly get value for money. We didn't have to wait too long for food to arrive after ordering. Customer service was reasonable, but we were left waiting for service a couple of times, although they were busy. Arrived early to find carpark already full. Manager came to see we were satisfied and to make recommendations. Service charge was added to bill automatically.”
